The Police Supervision Agency, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction, has executed personal security measures with a preventive character "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" against 4 suspected Peqin Police Station employees for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

The assignment of security measures became possible after investigations carried out with special methods, where there are reasonable doubts based on evidence for the involvement of police officers in abuse of duty, allowing with concrete actions and inactions the development of the illegal activity of cultivation of narcotic plants in two cases in the residence of the RB citizen

On September 13, this citizen was arrested by the DVP Elbasan for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants", as cannabis sativa plants were found in his apartment during the search.

Investigations continue for the involvement of other employees in this criminal activity./ CNA
