The Milan-Tirana plane has abandoned its passengers at Malpensa airport. After leaving them waiting for hours to go to Rinas, the passengers were finally informed that the flight was cancelled. After about 9 hours of waiting at the airport, the Albanian passengers found themselves at the mercy of fate.

The departure of the flight was scheduled for 16.50, but without any explanation it was postponed to 20.30.

Even though the passengers boarded the plane, they were left to wait another 2 hours on the plane, while no one clarified or gave explanations on the reasons for the delay. After being stuck on board the plane for more than 120 minutes, they were forced to get off, as the passengers say, even with the intervention of the Italian police.

Passengers have expressed concern about how "Air Albania" had left them at the Milan airport and the company did not even deign to answer them. They denounce the company for arrogance and disregard. No explanation has been given to the passengers for the reasons for the flight cancellation, but also Air Albania is not responsible for where the citizens will spend the night.

One of the passengers, Sefedin Matraçi, who yesterday evening was going to travel with "Air Albania" in the direction of Tirana, from Milan airport, has confessed how the Albanian airline abandoned them in Malpensa. He confesses that the trip was to be made with an Air Albania plane, but in fact they found a Turkish Airlines aircraft on the runway, which, however, never took off from the Malpensa runway.

Sefedin Matraçi, passenger:

"The plane was supposed to leave at 4:50 p.m. We have been here since 14.00. When we arrived at the airport, check-in was not open and no one answered us. After we have been waiting for hours, they tell us that we will leave at 20.30. But we would leave not with the Air Albania plane, but with Turkish Airlines. After going through check-in, we entered the plane and were left waiting for more than 2 hours. The pilot and the flight staff were telling us that they did not have permission from the control tower to take off. We called the company again and they said that the plane from Tirana did not arrive because there was turbulence.

But they lied to us because the airport employees informed us that the company "Air Albania" had not paid the airport taxes. And until October 18, there will be no flights at Italian airports.

I have been traveling for 21 years and it has never happened to me. There are children here, there are old people. We are 50-60 passengers.

Passenger Romeo Gjergji: We have been waiting here since 2 o'clock. I am sick, with diabetes, with a heart. No one takes over anything. We are staying at the airport. No one explains to us. They brought the police on the plane as if we were criminals.
