The Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, has presented the 2022 progress report for Shqipwrinw.

According to him, Albania has achieved positive and concrete results.

"It is the second country with which we opened negotiations this year. It has continued to make progress and has produced results. The justice reform and the vetting that is going on are examples of good work. Albania has fought crime and corruption. Albania has maintained 100% the European line for the Russian occupation of Ukraine.

Property rights, media freedom, rule of law are very important issues. We said this last year as well, but these challenges are important for us.
