The government will make a new pension reform, which will start in 2025.

This news was confirmed at the SP Congress by the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja.

He said that there will no longer be pensions under 150 euros, while he emphasized that the fruits of the reform will be seen in the next 2-3 years.

"We still have some very strong challenges to overcome, starting with the necessity for a more meaningful increase in pensions than the very small increases of these years.

Fortunately, today's economy has created better opportunities for us than we had until yesterday to dare even with pensions, which are without question the most challenging part of the economic part of a developing country like Albania.

We are working on this and will start taking the right steps so that on the road to Albania 2030 there will no longer be a pension below 150 euros. The new pension reform will go into effect next year and its fruits will be seen without question in the next two to three years", emphasized Gonxhja./ CNA
