During the last 24 hours, 29 fires were reported throughout the country.

According to the data from the National Operational Center of Civil Emergencies, after an uninterrupted work of the operational forces, it became possible to completely isolate and extinguish 23 outbreaks.

Currently, the work is continuing for the complete isolation of the flames in the Vlora Municipality waste collection site, by the forces of the local and central government.

The fires in the villages of Malecaj and Torovicë of Lezhë Municipality continue today with low intensity and do not pose a danger to residential areas. Also, the danger to the dwellings from the hearth of the fire on the Shengjin mountain, which took immediate proportions yesterday afternoon due to the strong wind, has been completely avoided.

After the intervention of the operational forces of Lezhë Municipality, supported by the Municipality of Tirana and the Armed Forces, the outbreak is under control, but the work continues by local operational forces and effective FA.

Work is also underway to extinguish the fire in the village of Peraj i Has, which, as a result of the strong wind, has moved from the territory of the Tropoja Municipality, as well as in the village of Rrjoll of the Shkodër Municipality, a fire which continues with low intensity. The Armed Forces, under the coordination of the Civil Protection Agency, are continuing the work in those areas where their intervention has been requested./ CNA
