Former Ambassador Agim Nesho spoke today about the protest that will take place in "Skënderbej" Square in Tirana in support of the former leaders of the KLA. Nesho said that the lack of evidence and the delay in the trial of the former leaders of the KLA is causing the citizens of the Albanian nation to react in their defense.

"It is a manifestation in support of the 4 main leaders of the KLA of a glorious epic. The lack of evidence and the delay in the trial makes the Albanian public defend this epic," said Nesho.

He further commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's support for the protest, saying that there are several reasons why he is doing this.

"Nothing in Albania develops without the direction of the autocrat. Rama is doing this for several reasons. Rama is making a "mea culpa" because during the period when information was collected from Serbia about the main authorities of Kosovo, Rama was in an unjustifiable love affair with Vu?i?.  Then he moved on to the "Open Balkans". There was an interaction between Rama and Vu?i?, bypassing the stance that Albania, united as a nation, should have taken towards an unjust process. Secondly, Rama is making it seem like he is in a bad situation within the country, not only due to corruption but also due to links to organized crime. He is doing this to tell them inside and outside the country that I am the point of reference of the Albanian nation." , he said. /CNA
