The "Great Dictionary of the Albanian Language" is presented/

On the second day of the National Assembly for the Albanian Language, organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports, the "Great Dictionary of the Albanian Language," a major work realized by the Academy of Sciences of Albania, was presented. This project represents a linguistic, scientific and cultural monument, with over 120 thousand words that testify to the richness of the Albanian language.

During the presentation, the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, emphasized the historical importance of this work and the symbolism of its presentation on an important day such as the Alphabet Day of the Albanian Language, a cornerstone of national history and the development of the language.?

"On November 22, we remember one of the most significant moments of our national history, the Congress of Manastir. Today, 116 years later, through this dictionary, we continue to fulfill the mission of the renaissance for the preservation of identity and the strengthening of our native language. This dictionary is more than a vocabulary. It is a proof of our expressive culture and the journey of the Albanian language. With about 120,000 words, this dictionary represents a living archive of our linguistic heritage and a powerful tool for researchers, students and every user of the Albanian language", said Minister Manastirliu.

The dictionary, the result of decades of work by prominent Albanian linguists, lexicographers and researchers, is a unique resource for researchers, teachers and any user of the Albanian language. "This dictionary is not only a tool for communication, but a shield against the effects of globalization and a source for further scientific research, proving that the Albanian language remains the pillar of our national identity."

Concluding, Manastirliu quoted Gjergj Fishta. "The Albanian language is the bell of the heart of the nation."
