In the village of Vardardhë in Sukthi, the evacuation plan for residents has begun as a result of the flood.
The news was announced by the Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu, who said that 500 residents will be evacuated by the armed forces.
Koçiu called on residents to wait in their apartments as emergencies will go to every house.
"We are in Vardardhë in Sukth where the evacuation plan has started. All emergency teams are on the ground to evacuate residents affected by the flood. There are 500 residents who will be deployed with armed forces vehicles. The situation is difficult. There are 6 deployed forces vehicles and 200 employees in the Vardardhë area. I have a call for all citizens to wait in their apartments and not to go out and leave their apartments alone. Emergency teams will knock on every door for help ," said Koçiu./CNA
