A miracle happens/ DP protests at Veliaj prison

Today, the Democratic Party (DP) has announced that a protest will be held, which surprisingly will take place at the Durrës prison, due to the floods. 

According to the announcement, the protest will take place around 4:30 p.m.

The fact that surprises me the most is that the DP has chosen to protest the floods right in front of the Durrës prison where Mayor Erion Veliaj is also located.

Maybe they are going to protest at the Durrës prison because they have trouble getting Veliaj out to help him, because in fact the DP, its majority, the elite, has had a pretty positive approach in support of the mayor of Tirana.

For diversion or whatever, it matters little.

But we are faced with the fact that today in Durrës they are protesting in front of the prison where Veliaj is being held, perhaps to demand better conditions for the mayor of Tirana or to release their friend and partner.

We recall that SPAK has filed 13 charges against Veliaj and sent his file for trial, while on the other hand the mayor uses various tactics to avoid facing the charges and evidence before justice./ CNA
