A road accident occurred today on the Lezhë-Milot highway,...
Due to inert materials and soils on the Qukë-Qafë Plloçë axis, traffic on this road segment will be temporarily closed.
From the latest information, it is learned that in order to take measures regarding the circulation of vehicles and to avoid danger as in the case of the vehicle that was involved in an accident this morning, traffic on this axis has been temporarily closed.
The Korça and Elbasan traffic police are directing vehicles towards the old road by placing patrols at the entrance to Qafë Plloçë and at the entrance to Qukës to prevent entry to the new axis.
The road will remain closed until the contractor has completely cleared all soil and inert materials that have fallen on the road and until there is no longer a risk to vehicle traffic.
The contracting firm is still at the intersection where it is carrying out interventions, while it is not known how long the traffic blockage in this area will last. /CNA
