A month of protest for Berisha

Even this evening, dozens of citizens and exponents of the Democratic Party have gathered to protest in front of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's apartment.

Berisha's supporters have come out to protest on "Mustafa Matohiti" street for the 31st day.

Democrats say they are determined not to stop their rallies.

They oppose the measure of house arrest imposed by GJKKO on the chief democrat.

We remind you that on December 30, judge Irena Gjoka signed the "house arrest" security measure for Berisha on the charge of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials" for the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.

This decision was appealed by Berisha's lawyers, but was upheld by the GJKKO Appeal./  CNA
