Residents damaged by the 2019 earthquake seem to have been forgotten by the institutions.

The municipalities and the Ministry of Reconstruction have not approved for nearly half of them, the payments for the repair of damaged houses.

According to the decisions of the State Reconstruction Committee, the total number of dwellings that were given the earthquake damage compensation fund is 45,459, out of 83,745 buildings that are classified as partially damaged, which should have received money from the reconstruction budget.

Ministri i Shtetit për Rindërtimin, Arben Ahmetaj, ka mbledhur vetëm 5 herë këtë vit Komitetin e Rindërtimit, duke dhënë ndihmë financiare për vetëm 939 familje.

Në 2020-n Komiteti i Rindërtimit u mblodh 69 herë, dhe miratoi ndarjen e fondeve për shtëpitë dhe apartamentet e dëmtuara për 31.935 familje. Në total janë alokuar 79 milion euro fonde, mesatarisht 2.500 euro për familje.

Vitin e shkuar, i cili ishte edhe një vit elektoral, Komiteti miratoi 29 vendime, duke shpërndarë fonde për riparimin e banesave për 12.585 familje. Në total fondet e miratuara 1 vit më parë  ishin 47.5 milion euro, 3800 euro për një banesë.

Por vlera e fondeve të miratuara këtë vit është vetëm 5.7 milion euro.
