Born eighty years ago where the sun rises twice, Namik Dokle, carrying time within himself, has known how to keep his sun in sight, even when he has had to walk through winters that test patience, or through springs that revive hope; between summers filled with work or autumn, gathering the fruits of memory.

On this journey, starting from the mountains of his homeland, he has moved from newspaper editorial offices to political tribunes and, from there, to the reflective silence of books, where words become deeper and memories more vivid.

Eighty years ago, a life began.
