Illegal construction in protected areas/ AMP arrests 1 citizen, 2 employees

The Police Supervision Agency (Kukës - Dibër Region) has referred the procedural materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for the police officer MM, with the duty of N/Specialist for Community Policing at the Tropoja Police Station, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office" as well as for the employee of the National Agency for Protected Areas, citizen GH.

Citizen EB, a resident of the city of Durrës, was also arrested in flagrante delicto, suspected of the criminal offense of "Illegal Construction in Protected Areas".

The referral of materials to the employees was carried out after actions and inactions allowed the construction of a two-story building with stone walls in the place called ''Quka e Ibrahim Osës'', Bjeshkët e Pojanit, in the Tropojë Administrative Unit, without the permission of the relevant bodies and in violation of the law on Protected Areas./CNA
