It has recently reached a new milestone, surpassing the number of 400,000 international students last year. · Among students currently in training for fields with student shortages, international enrollment is higher in IT and engineering than in medicine, nursing, and law.

· For students who want to study and work in Germany, these degrees match fields where long-term job demand is already clear.
