The Peace Board now has its official website. The launch of the website follows the inaugural meeting on February 19, where the declaration establishing the Board was signed. Among the leaders who signed were Prime Minister Edi Rama, representing Albania, and President Vjosa Osmani, representing Kosovo.
The official website of the Board lists the member states as follows: USA, Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Egypt, El Salvador, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. The basic principles of the Peace Board, conceived by US President Donald Trump, are also listed.
The mission section states that the Peace Board is an international organization that seeks to promote stability, restore credible and legitimate governance, and ensure lasting peace in areas affected by or threatened by conflict.
The Board shall undertake such peace-building functions in accordance with international law and as may be adopted in accordance with this Charter, including the development and dissemination of best practices capable of being implemented by all nations and communities seeking peace.
A separate section on the Board's website is the "Gaza Peace Plan." It outlines President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza. /CNA
