The message of the Metropolitan of Korça, Anastasios, at the first mass:

Today, His Grace Anastasi celebrated his first mass as Metropolitan of Korça at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Korça.

Metropolitan of Korça, Anastasius, in a message addressed to the believers and those present at this mass, emphasized that His goal is to be enthroned in the hearts of each of them.

"My goal is to be enthroned in the hearts of each of you," said Metropolitan Anastasius of Korça.

The day before, in a ceremony led by Archbishop Joan, His Grace Anastasios was enthroned as Metropolitan of Korça after being elected by the Holy Synod.

Before the hundreds of believers who attended the enthronement ceremony, the Metropolitan of Korça stated:

“The enthronement is an event of the Church, a new stone placed in the living temple of the body of Christ.

In the light of the teachings, the bishop is called to keep the torch of faith burning, to comfort the hurting, to become a living sign of Christ's presence among the faithful.

I am here, not to seek the glory of the world, but the glory of the church, not to stand above others, but in their midst. My heart is filled with humility, this place that is being entrusted to me is not mine, but God's."/ CNA
