Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted sharply after the Hague Prosecutor's Office's request to sentence former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi to 180 years in prison.

Rama, through a post on Twitter, emphasizes that he is trying to find the logical thread that the prosecution followed to come up with the request to bury the four men alive.

The Prime Minister says that sometimes words don't help him express himself.

He writes that he needs time to digest this request from the Hague Prosecutor's Office.

"Friends from Pristina ask me why you are not speaking out about your friend who was today charged with 45 years in prison at the behest of the Hague prosecutor's office?!

I can't express myself, as I'm still trying to figure out where the logical thread that the prosecution followed to come up with the request to bury the four men alive comes from, and as never before, words don't help me express myself...
