US support for SPAK, a lesson for Xhafajn

Since January of this year, CNA has reported the scheme of the majority, headed by Fatmir Xhafajn, against SPAK, with an alleged reform in the name of EU integration. ( Read here )

Xhafaj has come out openly about this scheme proposed by the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, which has alarmed the international community.

Xhafaj has publicly attacked SPAK, but received a "slap" from the USA. ( Read here )

The special commission he heads has been boycotted by internationals , who have never hesitated to express support for SPAK.

The American embassy, ??the British embassy, ??but also the EU embassy have stated from time to time that they support SPAK and the fight against corruption and organized crime.

Even on Tuesday, after Xhafaj's attack on the SPAK Assembly, the US embassy came out with a clear message.  ( Read here )

DASH's report states that they have expectations for the success of SPAK.

Thus DASH showed once again that the attitude of the internationals will not change for the Special Prosecutor's Office.
