"The relationship with the office is through e-Albania"/ Minister Demo

The Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, spoke today regarding the relocation of the Vlora Cadastre to the capital.

In a television appearance, Demo said that Vlora is being added to Shkodra, Durrës and Vora that are already in Tirana. The minister stated, among other things, that the relationship with the Cadastre office is no longer at physical counters but online through the e-Albania portal.

"ASHK or Cadastre as a whole is one of the biggest challenges that we have from an institutional point of view in the territory. It is understood that over the years we have found that the agency itself as a whole has begun to take initiatives that are based more on technology. Because today the relationship with the Cadastre office is no longer at the counter, but is through the portal. And a good part of the services that are offered today are not necessarily offered by people who are in the territory in Vlora. The agency has its own approach regarding services in certain areas, but we must understand that in Tirana today there are Shkodra, Vora, Durres and now Vlora has also been added. This also includes the role of the Municipality, to be honest.

When we talk about the digitalization of services, we must understand that in 2026, which I did not mention, we will enter a process of digitalization of services at the local level. At the local level, the Municipality must use its own structures in a capillary manner to come to the aid of citizens, to receive certain services. If I go back in time, when E-Albania first started, we have made available all the offices that the municipalities and administrative units had, for all those who lacked knowledge about using the system. And I am very convinced that we cannot create systems that exclude us", said Minister Demo. /CNA
