Ndryshimet në Kodin Penal/ OSBE: Dekriminalizimi i shpifjes, hap drejt forcimit të lirisë së shprehjes

OSBE ka mirëpritur ndryshimet e fundit në Kodin Penal në Shqipëri lidhur me dekriminalizimin e shpifjes, duke theksuar se është një hap i parë i rëndësishëm drejt forcimit të lirisë së shprehjes.

Sipas OSBE, forcimi i mbrojtjes për gazetarët pasqyron një rekomandim të hershëm të OSBE-së.

Në përmbyllje, OSBE nënvizon se inkurajon dekriminalizimin e plotë të shpifjes dhe përdorimin e masave civile proporcionale.

“Prezenca e OSBE-së në Shqipëri mirëpret ndryshimet e fundit në Kodin Penal lidhur me shpifjen, si një hap të parë të rëndësishëm drejt forcimit të lirisë së shprehjes.

Forcimi i mbrojtjes për gazetarët pasqyron një rekomandim të hershëm të OSBE-së.

Ne vijojmë të inkurajojmë dekriminalizimin e plotë të shpifjes dhe përdorimin e masave civile proporcionale”, thuhet në reagimin e OSBE./ CNA
