Requests change of measure/ Here's when the Supreme Court will review Meta's request

The request of the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, to change the security measure will be reviewed on April 23 by the Supreme Court.

It is reported that the request will be reviewed by a panel of judges consisting of Ilir Panda, Albana Boksi and Gentian Shala. This is the second time that Meta has requested a change of measure, while it has previously been rejected.

The leader of the PL, Ilir Meta, has been in prison since October 2024, facing charges of corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets.

We recall that on March 18, the Special Court decided to proceed to trial the case file on the merits against former President Ilir Meta, his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi and other defendants. /CNA
