Former top FBI agent Charles McGonigal was sentenced to more than four years in prison for helping Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska seek to be removed from the US sanctions list.

His ex-girlfriend, Allison Guerriero, recently spoke about McGonigal's sentence. In an interview with the British media " Daily Mail ", Guerriero said that she feels happy.

"I can't hide the smile from my face knowing that he will be imprisoned," she said, calling the former FBI official a traitor.

However, McGonigal's ex-girlfriend expressed her desire for a higher sentence.

"I don't believe he was punished enough. But I am 100% sure that he will go to hell when he dies, so I will have to live only with the judge's decision", she continued, as she stopped at the Albanian file.

Allison Guerriero stated that she hopes that the former FBI official will be sentenced for at least another 5 years for the Albanian file.

"I just hope that Charles gets another sentence that runs consecutively and is not concurrent, so he can be in prison for at least another five years on top of this sentence," she said.
