The Mother Teresa University Hospital Center has issued a response following a complaint on social media about a nurse's behavior towards patients within the psychiatric ward.

The nurse addresses the patient who refuses to take her medication with abusive language and offensive expressions.

The QSUNT response states that this is an unacceptable case of violation of professional ethics. Among other things, it is stated that the employee has been identified and procedures have been initiated against her to take administrative and disciplinary measures.

QSUT has followed with concern the video published in online media, which shows an unacceptable case of violation of professional ethics in one of the medical services.

Immediately after the verifications were carried out, the employee involved was identified and procedures were initiated to take administrative and disciplinary measures, in accordance with the legislation in force.

QSUT remains fully committed to guaranteeing dignified, professional and ethical healthcare for every patient who presents to our services.
