Coward Veliaj doesn't go to court

The next hearing has begun at the GJKKO for the mayor arrested on 13 serious charges, Erion Veliaj, his wife Ajola Xoxa and 28 other defendants.

Erion Veliaj has not gone out of his way and has not attended the hearing. For about a year, he has been using various schemes to delay court proceedings because he is afraid to face the facts and evidence in court.

On the other hand, his wife, Ajola Xoxa, has requested a 63-day postponement of the process after the birth of her child. According to reports, she has stated that she wants to be present in court sessions herself and will not authorize lawyers to defend her.

Erion Veliaj faces 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, corruption, abuse of office, laundering the proceeds of crime, concealing property, and bringing prohibited items into the cell.
