He exploited his partner for prostitution together with his friend/ The Berat

The Berat Prosecution Office has completed the investigations and sent three people to trial, two of them accused of the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution", while the third for "Failure to report a crime".

According to the prosecution, the defendants with the initials RL and EV are accused of having, in collaboration, exploited the citizen with the initials Y.Sh. for prostitution, while KD is accused of failing to report the crime.

The investigations conducted revealed that Y.Sh. practiced prostitution, while her cohabitant, RL, was aware of it and benefited from it.

According to the victim's statements, clients were provided to her by EV, the owner of the nightclub where she was employed as a dancer. RL himself admitted during the investigation that, due to economic difficulties, he had encouraged his cohabitant to offer sexual services for payment and, on various occasions, had also helped her find clients.

Meanwhile, according to the investigative file, EV cooperated by hiring Y.Sh. as a dancer in his club, a role that, according to the accusation, served as a cover for her sexual exploitation with the club's clients, for the purpose of economic gain.

Prosecutor's Office Announcement:

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Berat, completed the investigations and sent citizens RL, EV to trial for the criminal offense of 'Exploitation of prostitution' provided for by Article 114/2 of the Criminal Code, as well as citizen KD, accused of 'Failure to report a crime' provided for by Article 300 of the Criminal Code.

From the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 256 of 2025, it was proven that the defendants RL, EV and KD committed the criminal offenses for which they were accused.

From all the circumstances of the fact and the evidence collected, it was proven beyond any reasonable doubt that the defendants RL, and EV, through concrete actions, made it possible to exploit citizen Y.Sh for prostitution. From the statement of this citizen it resulted that she practiced prostitution and her cohabitant, RL, was aware of it since he received the money obtained from the criminal activity when it went to the house where they lived together. She explained that the clients were provided to her by citizen EV, who was the owner of the nightclub “Star”, where she was employed as a dancer.

The defendant RL admitted that he pushed his cohabitant to provide sexual services due to his difficult economic situation. On occasion, he helped her find a client to perform sexual intercourse for her in return for payment.

I pandehuri R.L., në cilësinë e organizatorit dhe ekzekutorit ka ndërmarrë të gjitha veprimet e mundshme që vepra penale të realizohet plotësisht, duke i siguruar klientët bashkëjetueses së tij për të kryer veprën penale, duke marrë përfitime materiale nga kjo veprimtari, duke përcaktuar vendin ku do ushtronte prostitucionin viktima e veprës penale si dhe duke përcaktuar çmimin që do paguanin klientët për përfitimet seksuale që do të përfitonin nga viktima. Ndërsa i pandehuri E.V. në rolin e ndihmësit, ka ndërmarrë hapat për ta realizuar plotësisht veprën penale. Ai ka marrë në punë shtetasen Y.Sh., pasi ka rënë dakord me bashkëjetuesin e saj, duke e kamufluar në rolin e valltares, për ta shfrytëzuar për klientët që vinin në ambientet e klubit të tij, me qëllim përfitimi. /CNA
