Extortion of millions of euros through "Call Centers"/ The

The Vlora Court has imposed the security measure "prison arrest" for citizen GP, ??who was arrested in Dhërmi.

The 29-year-old is considered one of the main people in the group targeted in the "Call Center" case, which is suspected of defrauding hundreds of European citizens and causing financial damage estimated at over 50 million euros.

Meanwhile, the same security measure was also imposed on those who were arrested on the same day, citizens Xh. H., 31 years old, and RR, 28 years old. The latter is accused of the criminal offense of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".

SPAK's operation to crack down on "Call Centers" was carried out in cooperation with Austrian authorities, who helped uncover a sophisticated fraud scheme that is suspected of operating through organized structures camouflaged as legitimate companies.  /CNA
