Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again regarding the statement of the Prosecutors' Association on the issue of increasing judges' salaries.

Rama states that in his previous reaction he did not intend to criticize the Prosecutors' Association.

He further emphasizes that the registration of an association does not end with the court, but must also be done with taxes, which, according to him, has not yet happened.

Full reaction: 

A volunteer spokesperson for the prosecutors' association said that the new association was registered with the court and I had lied, but in fact I did not write that they were not registered with the court.

I wrote, "they are still unregistered, but they are within the deadline" - so I didn't mean to criticize, but simply to illustrate the very young age of the association, while it is universally known that the registration of an association does not end with the court, but must also be done with the tax authorities, which has not yet happened.

But the problem with volunteer spokespersons is that they are more zealous than institutional spokespersons, while their information is usually half-truths, which makes them hasty news reports of half-truths - which are also the biggest lies. / CNA
