The American Embassy in Tirana has issued a warning to all citizens who want to apply for a visa.

The embassy advises citizens not to trust anyone who says they need to pay for assistance in applying for a visa.

“Today we are here to tell you not to trust anyone who tells you that you have to pay for help to apply for a visa!

Remember! No one can guarantee you a visa and you may have negative consequences for your visa application if you contact a visa agent who engages in fraud or provides false information on your application!

"So save money and protect your personal information by applying yourself or with the help of a friend or family member," the message from the US Embassy in Tirana says.

It is emphasized to avoid agencies and follow the instructions in the video to apply for a visa.
