The new EU ambassador, Silvio Gonzato, went to Prime Minister Edi Rama's office this Monday.

Gonzato held his first meeting with Rama since his arrival in Albania.

They discussed the process of Albania's integration into the EU. The meeting was revealed by the ambassador himself through a status on social networks.

"My first meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama! We talked about Albania's next steps in its EU integration process and how I and my team can accompany the country in this challenging but promising journey", wrote Silvio Gonzato./ CNA
