He bought 119 thousand euros of machinery from Zoto's wife/ What Alqi Blako

In August 2023, CNA revealed the investigation file of SPAK for the Tirana incinerator, where it was revealed that Alqi Blako, in the capacity of Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment, had irregularly benefited from Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri in the amount of about 119,755 euros.

According to the SPAK, Blako secured this irregular benefit indirectly through Klodian Zoto, making payments for machines for filling, sealing, sealing and certification of bottles, machines for gasification of drinks worth 119,755 euros.

The ex-secretary of the Ministry of Environment commissioned citizen Klodian Zoto to purchase the equipment and this was made possible through the company of Klodian Zoto's wife, Ilsa Zoto.

About the purchase of the beer machine, Blako spoke this Monday in court, where he denied having benefited from the people of the incinerators.

"I bought it personally in the Czech Republic. I have receipts that I can make available to you. I have not benefited from such purchases from Klodian Zoto", he declared.

As for the employment of Vladimir Bezhan, he claimed that everything was done legally.

"It is a legal contract with the private sector. Neither by regulation nor by law is it prohibited. He is one of the three best experts in the republic in terms of waste treatment studies. The salary of the employed person is legal, as long as it is legal, there is no reason to file a charge", said Blako./ CNA
