The candidate without an area to run declares victory

It also happens like this:Someone declares victory even though he is not in the race, and we hear this in Albanian politics. Yesterday a former insignificant official, and today a simple member of the Democratic Party, Fatbardh Kadilli has declared his and Luli Basha victory in the next elections, although he doesn?t run in any area, and Lulzim Basha has abandoned him.

Kadilli claims that it is the future, although it comes from the past. He has been an adviser to former Prime Minister Berisha, MP, but has never taken responsibility for what yesterday?s government did. He was the future at the moment when the DP was leaving power, and was elected Secretary for Human Resources in the DP. After 4 years in that position, he lost shamefully together with Lulzim Basha, who didn?t even run in the 2017 elections, removing him from Pogradec where he had been an MP.

Kadilli started accusing, attacking, and insulting Lulzim Basha like never before. But today the desire for tomorrow?s power has aroused other feelings. In order to remind Luli Basha that he is alive and exists, Kadilli has recently made several media appearances, emphasizing that he as a great personality belongs to the future, and so he will bring victory to Lulzim Basha with over 65 percent of Albanians who will vote en masse.

In fact a question arises:Where will the Democrats vote for Kadilli? Because Basha didn?t run him either in 2017. Kadilli was a deputy in Pogradec, he was removed from the lists, then he was delegated to Lushnja, Fier, Vlora and recently to Saranda, where he was expelled by Bujar Leskaj.

Now he wanders around like a fish without water and wants to run, he wants a constituency to become an MP. But he isn?t a stupid and understands the situation. Running with shared lists has started to have problems. There are no vacancies in the district of Korça, also in Fier, and Vlora it?s indisputable.

He can?t go even to Gjirokastra, Tirana is full of candidates, and in Elbasan no one supports him. So Kadilli is being left without a zone, and can be called the candidate without a zone that announces the victory of the Democratic Party. And there is no victory more beautiful than that without running. Because even if you loose you declare anyway the victory, as you can become a partner with the winner, as has happened and often happens with Kadilli and his ilk./CNA.al
