Changes Announced/Twitter System Crashes, Users Are Having Trouble

The Twitter platform is facing a problem, which means that users cannot browse other websites' information or view pictures.

Users who click on the links are shown a message indicating that Twitter has problems with the API, or the system that this social network uses to communicate with other services. So, user-shared widgets cannot be viewed.

Tweetdeck, the Twitter service used to post on the social network, is also facing the same problem.

Twitter may have caused this problem itself, as it has made major changes to its systems in recent weeks.

Twitter in recent weeks has made changes to the API in order to generate more revenue. Recently, the company announced that it would largely give up offering free services.

The company had previously said that with "great enthusiasm we are awaiting the changes to the Twitter API". This announcement was made on February 13, saying that the changes will be made very soon. But then Twitter said updates to the system would be delayed./REL
