As more and more major car manufacturing companies offer contemporary models of electric cars, Tesla has decided to lower the prices of its vehicles worldwide.

The price cut could be as much as 20% in some cases and comes after Elon Musk warned of an impending global recession and higher interest rates. 

So lowering prices is the only way to support profit growth.

2022 was the worst year for Tesla stock, largely due to Musk's acquisition of Twitter and his company's sluggish growth in China.

The price drop first hit Asia, then Europe, the US, the Middle East and then Africa.

Those who recently bought a Tesla, taking advantage of the company's discounts, have not welcomed the price cut. In fact, in China, customers protested in front of Tesla distribution centers, demanding compensation./ CNA.al
