Anyone considering buying the iPhone 14 when it goes on sale on September 16th might want to think twice.

That's because the latest announcement left some fans disappointed as it lacked the most substantial updates compared to previous models.

Here are three reasons why you probably shouldn't buy the latest iPhone.

Improvements are minimal

If you have an iPhone 13, it's almost certainly not worth upgrading. While some expected the updates to the iPhone 14 to be more innovative, many were disappointed not to see anything particularly innovative in this release, writes The Sun.

cAMERA

The camera, for example, is one of the parts most expected to see a major update, but it didn't.

The iPhone 14's main sensor is larger in pixels and with a faster aperture, but otherwise it remains the same as the iPhone 13.

Those who already have an iPhone can wait until the release of the iPhone 15 which is expected to be introduced in 2023.

The design has changed

The iPhone 14 has seen some design changes compared to its predecessor that not all iPhone fans will like. The screen is now taller and thinner, which should make the phone a little easier to hold with one hand, but it won't be to everyone's taste. The other major design change is the new pill-shaped cutout instead of the familiar dot, which takes up more space on the screen./ CNA.al
