OFFICIAL/ Albania without a coach, Edi Reja ends with the Albanian National Team

The Albanian national team is officially without a coach. The bench of the Reds and Blacks has remained vacant after the end of the contract between Edoardo Reja and the Albanian Football Federation.

The match with Armenia was practically the last for the 77-year-old Italian, and a few days ago his contract ended, leaving him a free coach, pending talks with the president of the AFL, Armand Duka.

The second oldest coach in the world, after Mirkea Luçescu who is a few months older, was confirmed on the bench of Albania in April 2019, where he replaced the departed Kristian Panuçi, who ended his adventure in Tirana after the 0-2 loss with Turkey in "Loro Boriçi", where his successor, Edoardo Reja, was also present in the stadium, who was made official shortly after.

Reja has coached Albania in 38 games in total, where he managed to record 14 wins, 9 draws and 15 losses, with a total score of 46 scored and 45 conceded.
