OFFICIAL/ Kosovo midfielder signs with Wolfsburg

Elvis Rexhbeçaj has made his return to Wolfsburg official, signing a four-year contract with his old club.

The Kosovo midfielder comes after a very positive adventure at Augsburg, where his stability and performance convinced the "Wolves" management to trust him with a place in the midfield for the coming seasons.

Although the 28-year-old was a key player for Augsburg, the parties decided not to renew his contract which expires this summer.

Augsburg's sporting director, Benni Weber, expressed gratitude for the player's professionalism, emphasizing that Rexhbeçaj gave everything for the team until the end.

The midfielder will say goodbye to his current fans in the final home match against Borussia Monchengladbach on May 9, before starting a new chapter in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg.
