Dumfries "scares" Inter, the reason is the 25 million euro clause

Denzel Dumfries has been out for a long period this season and Inter have felt his absence in the results.

His return coincided with a crucial moment in the title race, with a brace against Como standing out. The contract, renewed at the beginning of 2025, includes a release clause of 25 million euros. This amount is considered low in relation to the player's contribution in recent seasons.

The clause can be activated between mid- and late July and must be paid in full. There has been interest from other clubs, but the immediate payment requirement has been a stumbling block.

Dumfries' future will depend on his willingness to stay or try a new experience. The player does not rule out a transfer, but is looking for a club on the level of Inter.
