OFFICIAL/ Guardiola closes the chapter at Manchester City

Manchester City have officially announced the departure of Pep Guardiola, even though the Spanish coach still had one year left on his contract with the English club.

The decision was made by mutual agreement between the parties, ending one of the most successful periods in the club's history.

Guardiola confirmed his departure in an emotional message, thanking the board, players and fans for their support over the years in Manchester. The Spanish coach managed City in 592 official matches in all competitions, recording 423 wins, 77 draws and 92 losses.

During his tenure, the team won 20 trophies, including 6 Premier League titles and the first Champions League in the club's history.

Manchester City also set a record of four consecutive English top-flight titles under Guardiola.

The departure of the Spanish coach closes a very important era for the English club.
