Totti returns to Roma

Francesco Totti could return to Roma again, this time in a leadership role at the club. The legendary former captain is expected to become part of the administrative structure of the capital team.

According to reports by journalist Nicolo Schira, the deal is in the final stages and only a few final details are expected to be finalized.

The meeting held on March 2 between Gian Piero Gasperini and Totti is considered an important step towards his return to the club.

During this conversation, the former striker expressed his willingness to help lead the team. Francesco Totti retired from football in 2017 after a 25-year career with Roma.

He remains the club's all-time leading scorer with 307 goals and has also provided 205 assists.
