"Italy does not scare us"! Etrit Berisha shows Albania's problem: We have a Balkan mentality, we let down small national teams

Etrit Berisha was next to coach Reja as the captain of Albania, as the press conference was held before the friendly match with Italy. The goalkeeper of the national team said that the only mistake is the Balkan mentality that accompanies us, as we lose quite a bit to teams of the same level as us.

"It is very important for us to show our values, especially after the results we got in the League of Nations. We have our qualities to face Italy and come out with points.

The atmosphere is good, but we have the Balkan mentality that punishes us. When we have teams at the same level as us or below, we drop a bit of our game. When we have strong national teams, we are usually not wrong. We are not afraid of Italy, we are not afraid of anyone. We only have respect", said Berisha.
