Tottenham appoints new coach, only official announcement missing

Tottenham have decided to appoint Thomas Frank as their new manager, following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.

The Danish coach has reached an agreement with president Daniel Levy and is ready to begin his adventure at the helm of the London club.

Before it becomes official, Tottenham must reach an agreement with Brentford, where Frank has been manager for seven seasons.

Tottenham is coming off a difficult season in the league, but it ended successfully after winning the Europa League.

Frank has sought as a main reinforcement striker Bryan Mbeumo, author of 20 goals and 7 assists last season.

Tottenham are ready to offer around £70m to secure the coach and striker from Brentford.

10 million will be for the coach's release, while 60 million will be for Mbeumo's card.
