Albania-Serbia, AFF sends letter to State Police

The Football Federation has sent a letter of thanks to the State Police on the occasion of inter-institutional cooperation during the organization of the Albania-Serbia match, valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Albanian Football Association expresses its gratitude for the professionalism and commitment of the State Police in managing the flow of fans, which enabled the development of a safe and peaceful match, in accordance with the highest organizational standards.

Below is the letter of thanks sent to the State Police:

"On behalf of the Albanian Football Federation, I would like to express my deepest gratitude and thanks for the close cooperation and professionalism shown by the State Police and all its structures in the framework of organizing the Albania-Serbia match.

This match posed an extraordinary challenge in terms of security and fan flow management, which was faced with high commitment and competence by all structures involved: Public Order Police, Traffic Police, RENEA forces, Rapid Intervention Units, as well as intelligence and support structures.

Your work and that of the troops under your leadership guaranteed the development of a safe, dignified and successful event, demonstrating once again the essential role of the State Police in supporting events of national and international importance.

The Albanian Football Federation considers the State Police a strategic and irreplaceable partner in the organization of football activities, and always remains ready to deepen institutional cooperation in the spirit of mutual respect and common objectives.

We thank you once again for your valuable contribution and wish you further success in fulfilling your important mission."
