Hysaj: Only the goal was missing against Serbia, anyone could have missed the penalty

Elseid Hysaj was one of the best players against Serbia, or perhaps the best on the pitch. The defender won the penalty missed by Manaj, while being decisive in the back.

In his post-match statement, he expressed regret for the draw, saying that Albania only missed the goal.

The red and black defender stated that any player can miss a penalty and these are cases that happen in football.

"We played a very good match. The only thing missing was the goal that didn't come, but when you don't score the important goal, it's not conceding. We could have done more. With a little experience, we learned the moments when we need to attack. In the penalty area, I saw space and attacked. If a goal had been scored, it would have been better, but these things happen in football. Anyone can make mistakes in football. We have to be calm, other chances will come our way," said Hysaj.

The Albania-Serbia match, played at "Air Albania", ended in a goalless draw.
