Italy's bench "shakes" as Spalletti heads for departure. Mancini could return

Italy were beaten 3-0 by Norway in a match that raised many questions about the future of coach Luciano Spalletti. After the defeat, Spalletti himself stated that he would have an important conversation with the president of the Federation, Gravina, to discuss his future.

There have been signs of dissatisfaction among some players regarding the tactical choices within the team. The upcoming match against Moldova could prove decisive for the coach.

Alternatives to replace him include names like Pioli, Ranieri and Mancini, the latter of whom has expressed regret over leaving the national team.

 Having missed two consecutive World Cups, the Federation is looking for stability and immediate results. A change in the bench would require an immediate reconstruction of the group. The situation is expected to be clarified after the match with Moldova.
