Italian Cup, record revenue from Inter-Lazio

Inter led by Cristian Chivu won the Coppa Italia for the 2025/26 season, completing the double after also triumphing in the championship.

The Blues lifted the tenth trophy in the club's history after defeating Lazio in the final held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. In addition to the sporting success, this final also entered the financial history of the competition.

The match recorded the highest ever gross for a Coppa Italia final, with 5.6 million euros in revenue. 68,729 spectators were present in the stands of the “Olimpico”.

The final surpassed last season's Milan-Bologna match in revenue. However, it lags behind the Inter-Milan derby of the 2024/25 edition's semi-final, which generated around 5.8 million euros.

Inter's season thus ended with sporting success and another economic record for the club and Italian football.
