There is no peace at Fiorentina. Coach Paolo Vanoli risks being fired, after the home defeat to Hellas Verona, the ninth in 15 weeks of Serie A. The sporting situation is considered difficult and in the last hours meetings are being held at Viola Park to analyze the position of the coach.

The club has decided to send the team on an indefinite training camp, awaiting a reaction from the next match against Udinese. Vanoli has only taken two points in five games in charge of Fiorentina, with three consecutive league defeats.

In addition to the results, the coach is also being criticized for his lack of tactical changes. The success in the Conference League against Dynamo Kiev has not been reflected in Serie A.

According to reports from Italy, the president is also considering the return of Stefano Pioli, who left a few weeks ago, but still has a contract until 2028 with the Florentine team.

Meanwhile, names are being floated for a possible replacement, including Ballardini, Gautieri, Iachini and Galloppa. A win against Udinese could change the scenario, otherwise the sacking seems imminent.
