Fiorentina risks survival, loses at home

Fiorentina suffered another home defeat, this time against Cagliari with a score of 1-2, in the match valid for the 22nd week of Serie A.

The mixed team took the lead in the first half through Kilicsoy, who scored in the 31st minute. Immediately after the start of the second half, Palestra doubled Cagliari's lead, making it more difficult for the home team to react.

Fiorentina managed to narrow the gap in the 74th minute through Bresciani, but was unable to change the fate of the match.

After this result, Fiorentina remains in the cold zone of the standings, specifically in 18th place with 17 points.

On the other hand, Cagliari climbs to 25 points, positioning itself in 11th place. This was the second consecutive victory for the island team.
