Two of Turkey's biggest clubs have fired their coaches, both former Manchester United coaches.

Be?ikta? decided to part ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjær after being eliminated from the Europa League and failing to qualify for the Conference League, despite some important victories in the league. The Norwegian took the team from sixth place and led them to fourth place, but the results in Europe were not enough.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe parted ways with José Mourinho after being eliminated by Benfica in the Champions League qualifying round. The Portuguese had publicly criticized the club for its lack of reinforcements and its handling of the situation.

Fenerbahçe's elimination from Europe's biggest competition and Mourinho's statements hastened his departure. Both clubs are now expected to appoint new coaches to continue the season.
