2027 Women's World Cup, a deep loss for Albania  

The Albanian women's national team played against Wales in the first match of April valid for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.

The team led by coach Armir Grima was defeated 4-0 in the match held at the "Stok Rae Cas" stadium.

The match started at a high pace, with both teams fighting for the first few minutes. The home team took the lead in the 15th minute with a goal scored by Cain, while doubling their lead in the 35th minute.

In the second half, Wales scored their third goal early on through Roberts. The home team scored their fourth goal in the 55th minute, sealing the match.

Albania will return to the field against Wales on April 18 at the “Elbasan Arena” stadium. The match will start at 18:00.
